Cat Lovers Lining Up for No-Sneeze Kitties

A small California biotech company says it is ready to deliver the Holy Grail of the $35 billion pet industry: a hypoallergenic cat.

Now I should preface this post with my stance on genetic manipulation which is that i am all for it. hell, if someone figures out how i can grow a pair of wings or tap into my telekinetic potential then PLEASE let me know. Even in the realm of animals i would ordinarily say go for it all the way.
But not this time.
Sure. on the surface this sounds like a godsend.
as someone with a severe allergic reaction to cats this seems like blessing.
and if it were any other animal i would be on board.
But it's not any other animal.
These are cats.
The truth of the matter is, we are unlocking the genetic potential of these miniature sabertooth tigers. They are the most common household pet in the world and we are unleashing these killer creatures upon an unsuspecting public.

now here is a picture of one of the same cats two weeks after it had lulled it's owner into a false sense of security:
No one has seen or heard from its owner in weeks now.
All attempts to contact her have failed.
History will look back upon this time as the beginning of the Feline Empire's rise to power.
Be afraid.
And get a dog instead (because they rule).
